The Sexy Magazines are five guys from New York. It all began in 2000 when Franco and Brion started working on songs that Franco had written, soon after Ian would become the third member of the band. Our fledgling band, at that point called The Illegally blind (which was dropped shortly after people started associating us with the movie Legally Blonde), soon picked up two new members. When Marc and Mark joined the band things started to pick up and we decided on the name that we currently have: The Sexy Magazines.
